Tuesday 11th February

Today we have Skype called Antony, an engineer and lecturer at University of Warwick, to ask him questions. It was great to hear all about his experiences and top tips for our own build.
Then Ajay, Mason, Christine , Charlotte and Marcus worked on the seat for the car. Asher, Avia, Molly, Maisey, Seren, Josh are continued working  on the chassis ready to attach the steering column after half term!

Hi my name is Ajay. I wanted to join the S.T.E.M. club because I wanted to experience building a car. Today (04/02/2020) in S.T.E.M club we started to build the car but our teacher had lost instructions but luckily our teacher found one online : )

 

 

Seren davies


Hi, my name is Seren. I’m 10 years old and I joined stem club because I like building stuff and fiditing with stuff. Today in stem club we started the car because sir found the instructions last week and its been great fun building the start of the car.

Hi I am maisey I am 9 years old.  I wanted to join stem club because I knew it would be lots of fun also I am very creative. I like designing and making stuff I am excited for the car to be finished to see what it would look like. I am looking forward for how fast the car will gooo.

charlottes experience of building a kit car

hi my name is charlotte and I am 10 years old.  I am a pupil at Tonyrefail Community  School.  I am really excited to be in the crew of the stem club. If you don’t know stem stands for science technology engineering and maths. The reason I wanted to join is because I love to build and I have got quite a lot of practice with my dad we have made little kit cars it was a lot of fun. I started the stem club last week  and im really exited to start building. We are starting to build it today because my teacher couldn’t find the instructions but now we have found them and WE ARE READY TO BUILD!!
